Therapeutic indication: Treatment of colic in infants & Antigas & Antiflatulent            
Dosage and Administration: Syrup 120ml
Infant 1 to 6 months: 1 teaspoon as needed
Infant 6 months to 2 years: 2 teaspoons as needed
Pediatric older than 2 years: 2 to 3 teaspoons as needed
Side effect: May be allergic reaction

Diphenoxylate

Generic name: Diphenoxylate      Ghorse_Difnoxilat
Brand generic name: Minoo Diphenoxylate®
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antidiarrheal
Therapeutic indication: Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea,
in adult Dosage and Administration: Tablet 2.5mg of diphenoxylate
hydrochloride and 0.025mg of atropine sulfate
Adult: oral, initial: 2 tabs/ three or four times a day
Maintenance: 2 tabs once a day
Pediatric 12 years and older: see usual adult dose
Pediatric up to 12 years: Use is not recommended
Side effect: Pancretitis, paralytic ileus or toxic megacolon, mild
anticholinergic effects (dryness of skin and mouth), CNS depression, confusion, headache, hyperthermia (flushing), numbness of hands or feet, skin rash or itching, swelling of the gums, increased sweating, muscle cramps, nausea or vomiting, shivering or trembling, stomach cramps

Magnesium Hydroxide

Generic name: Magnesium Hydroxide
Brand name: Minoomag®
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antacids & Hyperosmotic Laxative
Therapeutic indication: Hyperacidity & Duodenal or gastric ulcer & Gastroesophageal reflux & Zollinger-Ellison syndrome & relief of constipation
Dosage and Administration: Suspension 400mg/5ml
Antacid:
Adult: 5 to 15ml 1 and 3 hr after meals and at bedtime (Max 60ml/day).
Pediatric: Doses may between 5 and 15ml 1 and 3 hr after meals and at bedtime, unless otherwise stated.
Laxative:
Adult: 30 to 60ml PO taken with liquid
Pediatric 2 to12 years: 5 to 30ml PO taken with liquid, depending on age.
Side effect: Renal calculi, hypermagnesemia, dizziness, lightheadedness, irregular heartbeat, chalky taste, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, stomach cramps
