Therapeutic indication: Hypocalcemia & Hyperphosphatemic & Calcium deficiency

Dosage and Administration: Effervescent tablet: 2.94gr calcium lactate-gluconate and 0.3gr calcium carbonate (total of 500mg calcium ion). The measured dose is to be dissolved in a glass of cool water just prior to administration.

Adult males & females: 800-1200mg/d

Pregnant & breast-feeding females: 1200mg/d

Pediatric 4 to 10 years: 800 mg/d

Pediatric birth to 3 years: 400 to 800 mg/d

Side effect: Renal calculi, hypercalcemic syndrome (Early symptoms: constipation, dryness of mouth, headache, increased thirst, irritability, loss of appetite, mental depression, metallic taste, tiredness or weakness. Late symptoms: confusion, drowsiness, high blood pressure, increased sensivity of eyes or skin to light, irregular fast or slow heartbeat, nausea and vomiting)
